Miles:   Kamahoro  Nigaahe ?

Kamahooro : Nimarungi

Miles: It’s really our pleasure for spearing time to talk to you about your volley ball journey so far

Renata: You are welcome and thank you too for the opportunity to host me

Miles: How is life and studies?

Renata: Life is going on well and studies, as tricky as ever, are also actually okay

Miles Have you heard of hearing hearts Uganda and our volley ball league

Renata: Yes I am and I am excited for all the works they are carrying out in my home town and excited for all the people they get to help

Miles: By the way congratulations upon the win of recent against your great rivals Nemo stars?

Renata: Oh!, thank you dear. Always a bit of a struggle but in the end, the best team won

Miles: What does that win mean to you as far as the title race?

Renata: It was amazing for us to win given the amount of time, sweat and energy invested in preparations.

Miles: Tell us about your feelings about winning the MVP of recent in the championship that was held in UCU?

Renata: oh!, That was honestly a shocker to me but great thanks to the coaches that are always behind the display of talent but personally it meant so much to me. It’s my first MVP award.

Miles: You seem to have changed your playing position after reaching Sports s , how did it come about and what is your favourite position?

Renata: Initially, I was actually an opposite player but at KYVC, due to player shortage at the time, I mildly transitioned to receiver attacker so I can say I am back to where I was originally which I don’t mind because I simply love playing the game so any position of play would be okay for me  .

Miles: Playing for Sports s seems to with much pressure and how do you manage studies and being ready for game selection most of the times

Renata: Honestly speaking, this may come as a shock but playing for sport s has proven to be less stressful than I expected, books always come first and even the management stresses that so it is not always a hustle to balance the two

Miles: I must credit you for the great display you displayed in the concluded CAVB Zone 5 Championship, share your experience

Renata : CAVB zone 5 was quite the experience. Playing with the biggest clubs in our region gave a better experience and I was simply happy with myself that I simply played my heart out

Miles: Your mother club is reaching hearing Hearing Hearts League final against the KCN ladies and it is the crush of the Titans

Renata:  I do miss KYVC too and my key take away from the club was that I learnt about the beauty of togetherness as a club and I do appreciate having started out from KYVC because I made amazing friends from there as well as making progress into playing club volleyball and I wish them all the best .

Miles : On a sad note this midyear we lost our elder, friend and a volleyball die hard who always wanted you to be better in the  game and he must have been so proud of you ,Any tributes to him

Renata: Oh !my, Mzeei Waka will always be one to remember, I remember him teasing me on court during my first days at KYVC and he did help me become more free to play with my teammates who by then were still new to me . MAY HIS SOUL CONTINUE TO REST IN PEACE?

Miles: How did you feel when the Nsambya based club was interested in your services Given that it had always been my dream club and that it meant that I would still get to play volleyball past high school, you can only imagine the excitement that came with it. Though I do admit that it was a bit scary being far from home but it’s been amazing since day one

Miles: Your last message to young ladies who look up to you in the game and are working hard to join you in the national league because Hearing hearts is here to bring more players to the map.

Renata: The best advice I can give to anyone starting out is to believe in themselves and focus on becoming the best version of a player that they can possibly be. That is how you grow. With self belief and discipline, the sky is only the limit

Miles: Its has been a pleasure sharing part of the journey and we hope to see you at Hearing Hearts very soon

Renata . Thank you dear, hoping to see you soon.

Miles : Ogumeho gye !!
