Happy new year my dear partners, I wish you an excellent and successful 2026. First, thank you for your support and dedication in the year 2025. I was able to successfully help students in their career journey here in Kabale. Last year we managed to secure a partnership with Kabale secondary school where we visited every Wednesday and Fridays.
We also conducted leagues of basketball and volleyball. The leagues attracted 21 teams, 12 teams of volleyball (7 boys and 5 girls) and basketball pulled in 9 teams (6 boys and 3 girls). The teams were from institutions and clubs in Kabale.
PLANS
We shall continue with the sports this year extending invitation to other institutions and we shall add on the schools to offer career guidance to. We are also planning to start on radio, 30 minutes each week to help in spreading the message of hope. We also plan to have internet centers/office. We are in the business of transforming lives and this calls for constant interaction. We want to offer internet centers where people pay to access internet.

FUNDING
Sports– The first season was entirely funded by Hearing Heart but this year, there will be a subscription for every participating team. With this small fee, we shall be a little eased on the financial burden. I want to extend my sincere thanks to your support all throughout last year because without it, I couldn’t have achieved anything.
Career guidance– Most schools have a single day for career guidance but our program requires consistent engagement with them. This means we start clubs where we can interact but also share materials to change their lives. This constant interaction requires some funding.
Radio– We hope to get sponsorships but for now it will be entirely funded by Hearing Heart
Internet Centers– These will be a business. Instead of having a redundant office, we hope to offer internet at a cost. With the Airtel 5G gadgets, we believe that it can be profitable.
