Basketball in the Kigezi region has brought hope to the youth, providing both mental and physical therapy and keeping them away from drug abuse. To further this initiative, we’re advocating for a special sports ground where various games like volleyball, football, netball, and more can be played. By encouraging youth to participate in both academics and sports, we aim to provide a holistic therapy.

In Kabale, we’ve seen significant growth in the game since the launch of the Hearing Heart League on August 24th at Emause grounds. The league has successfully engaged the youth in sports and academics while nurturing their faith. We’ve adopted a home and away format, awarding points to participating teams.

We’re grateful to our sponsors for their generous support in renting the venue, providing logistics, and supplying team uniforms. Their contributions have made the league a success, fostering personal relationships and improving lives through entertainment.

Looking ahead, we hope to develop better programs, offering participants valuable experiences, scholarships for students, and opportunities to showcase their talents at national levels. Our vision is a stable and impactful Hearing Heart League that transforms lives and brings hope to the community.
