Kabale secondary school a very welcoming school.

In 2025, Hearing Heart embarked on a courageous move to offer career guidance to schools around Kabale town. A number of ten schools were visited with all of them showing eagerness to corporate with us but Kabale Secondary University went all out and immediately got us engaging with their students. I visited Kabale Secondary School on the 13th of February 2025 which was a Thursday and by Monday the 16th I was already speaking with the whole school
Special thanks goes to the head teacher Mr. Byaruhanga Mwesigye Amon who welcomed me cordially, listened to my proposal, advised and allowed me to talk with his students. He intimated with me about the problems of the boy child, girls getting pregnant and many young people losing vision for studies with a desire to go on TIkTok. It seems that young people nowadays only have dreams of making it big on TikTok.
We kick started our guidance by meeting the whole school every other Monday, bi-weekly and we later launched the Hearing Heart club for an in-depth study. Our first term has been great and now we are looking forward to an even better second term.
The club has been majorly comprised of A-level students of level 5 partly because the coordinator is in that class so it’s easy for him to rally his fellow classmates but we hope to have either representatives from each class or different programs for different classes. We have developed a curriculum for the course and are ready to guide our young generation into productive adulthood.
